This is such a fun way to wrap up my PR work year again this year, and I wanted to share this MomTastic community relations campaign I’m working on with you…

This holiday season, Macy’s will reprise its annual Believe campaign, bringing joy and goodwill to customers nationwide and lending support to Make-A-Wish.  Macy’s invites believers of all ages to bring their stamped letters to Santa to their local Macy’s, and for each letter received, Macy’s will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish, up to $1 million. Macy’s has donated nearly $5 million to Make-A-Wish over the first four years of its Believe campaign, helping make wishes come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions. In celebration of the fifth anniversary, Macy’s is introducing a school musical program, while bringing back signature initiatives like the National Santa Bus Tour with stops in 26 cities including Maryland, and National Believe Day, which will be celebrated on Dec. 14.

Very exciting to be working on the local campaign, including Santa Bus Tour holiday events in Maryland and National Believe Day, where two local wishes will be granted in our area, as well as nationwide.  It’s incredibly touching to see these children who go through so much, get treated like VIPs and have their wishes granted.

So…what can you do to help?  Here are some ideas, along with copy you can cut & paste into your own social networks.

  • Write a letter, and deliver it to your local Macy’s Santa Mail letterbox by Dec. 24.
  • Tell your friends:

Believers of all ages! Bring your stamped letter to Macy’s, addressed to Santa at the North Pole, and drop it into the Macy’s Santa Mail Letterbox from now until Dec. 24. For each letter received, Macy’s will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish up to $1 million. Visit Macy’s online to learn more.

  • Spread the word on Facebook:
