For my D.C.-metro readers, I wanted to pass along information from FAMILY Magazine about upcoming camp fairs. Even though we’re still in gloves and winter coats, summer will be here before you know it, and camps are enrolling kids now. Here’s the info on their summer camp and activity fairs, along with a link to learn more…
Time to roast s’mores yet? 🙂
Here’s the scoop:
Featuring a multitude of summer activities and educational opportunities, the FAMILY Magazine Summer Camp and Activity Fair is full of fun events for children to explore a plethora of interests, while parents can discover and sign up for the perfect children’s summer camp. With three different fairs taking place in the greater Washington area, don’t miss out:
- Saturday, February 9th, Tyson’s Corner Center from 10:00am to 5:00pm
- Saturday, February 16th Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad from 11:30am to 5:00pm
- Saturday, March 2nd Westfield Montgomery Mall from 10:00am to 5:00pm
The Summer Camp and Activity Fairs will include many activities that will keep children entertained and allow them to ignite their imagination and creativity. Some of these events include face painting, arts and crafts, and giveaways. Families who participate in our Treasure Hunt are entered to win $500 towards a summer camp of the child’s choice.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with camp directors and ask them questions and learn more about the summer camp experience.
“Camp Fairs are such a great way to find the perfect camp experience for your child,” says Brenda Hyde, publisher and CEO of FAMILY Magazine. “We can’t wait for parents to see the fun activities we have planned for each of these fairs!”
